How can parents cancel the school bus if the child doesn't need it?

If your child does not need the bus please inform the school bus coordinator by e-mail. If you have to cancel the morning bus on the actual day (e.g. in case of illness), please call the coordinator by phone or send an SMS. The school bus coordinator is expecting calls from 6:30 am.

Can it happen, and what should be done if the morning bus does not arrive in time to pick up the child?

While every effort is made to keep the scheduled times, the bus service is subject to traffic conditions, and therefore the times can't be guarantied, unforseen circumstances (roadblocks, accidents etc.) can delay the buses. Should the bus be late on any given day, please be patient and wait until the bus arrives. In case of a significant delay (more than 6-7 minutes), the school bus coordinator will try to inform the parents about the delay by phone. The parents can also call the coordinator to get information about the expected arrival time of the bus.

What happens if the child is not waiting for the morning bus at the the pick up time?

In the morning the child has to wait the bus fully dressed, ready to get on the bus. If the child is not there at the scheduled time, the driver informs the school bus coordinator, who will try to call the parents to find out if the child is going to school or not. If the coordinator cannot contact the parents or if the child cannot be ready in 1-2 minutes, the bus will continue its way to the next address.

How do the kids get to the afternoon buses and how do they find the right bus?

Kindergarten, CP and CE1 students are accompanied to the buses by the school personnel, the other students go there unassisted. A dedicated person of the school and the bus drivers help the children find the right bus.

What happens if the child does not show up at the departure of the afternoon bus?

Buses leave from the school on schedule. Children not showing up at departure can take the next bus, provided there is a free seat on it. There might be several reasons why a child does not show up at the bus: the child is ill and did not go to school or was taken home earlier, one of the parents picked up the child exceptionally from school by car, the child left earlier or will leave later due to an unexpected change int he timetable, etc. In case the parents did not inform us about the change of schedule previously, it is usually not feasable for the drivers to find out at the scheduled departure of the buses the reason why the child did not show up.

Where and when the information about any changes in schedule or in other datas should be sent?

Please inform us about every change in schedule or in other datas in an e-mail sent to premier@premierbus.hu. Please also inform the school about the changes.

If the change of schedule is on the day of the notice, besides sending an e-mail, please also inform the school bus coordinator by phone (or send an SMS).

Is the child allowed to take a bus leaving earlier or later than the bus indicated previously by the parent?

In case of unexpected change in the timetable, in exceptional cases the child is allowed to take another bus than scheduled, provided there is a free seat on the bus. This apply solely to children who do not have to be received by an adult at home, all the other kids may take another bus only if the parent informs the school and the school bus coordinator about the change.

What happens if the parent is not at home to receive the child in the afternoon?

The school bus coordinator must be informed immediately when the parent realises that he/she will not get home by the time the school bus gets there with the child. If the shool bus coordinator was not informed about this, she will try to contact the parent as soon as the driver informs her that no one is waiting for the child. The school bus coordinator will inform the parents about the possible solutions, depending on the circumstances. In case on a minor, 2-3 minutes delay, the bus might wait for the parent, in case of a longer delay the bus will continue its way with the child on board, and either returns later to the childs home or the parent can pick up the child at another address. It is also possible that the bus takes the child back to the school and the child can either take a later bus or can be picked up by the parent at school.

Is there a door to door bus at 14:10?

We have only one bus leaving from the school at 14:10, which is a navette bus going to Budagyöngye and Széll Kálmán tér . Occasionally or on fixed days of the week, but only after consulting it with the school bus coordinator – this bus can also be used free of extra charge by the children who use the door to door service on other days. To some limited addresses, for an extra fee, we can also effect door to door service with the above bus.

Is there a nurse or teacher supervising the kids on the buses?

There is no supervisor on the door to door buses.
